Lens Cap on ACC-AMFH Accessory Kit Does Not Fit Properly

Sony has recently discovered that no screw threads were cut into the inner rim of some multi-coat lens protectors (VF-K55MP) included in the ACC-AMFH accessory kits. As a result, users may be unable to attach a lens cap while the lens protector is being used.
Note: The VF-K55MP is only available as part of the ACC-AMFH accessory kit and is not sold separately.

If you have an ACC-AMFH accessory kit please check the VF-K55MP lens protector. If it does not have threads on the inner rim, please contact Sony Support at 800-222-SONY (800-222-7669) to arrange to have a free replacement lens protector sent to you.
