How to determine if a song in the Apple® iTunes® software has Digital Rights Management (DRM) copy protection.
- In the iTunes software, click to select the song you wish to verify.
- On the main menu, click File and then click Get Info.
- On the Summary tab, under Kind, if the file has copyright protection, it may say (for example) Protected AAC audio file. A file which does not have copyright protection may say (for example) Purchased AAC audio file or AAC audio file.
