How to prevent automatic restart on system failure.

    1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
    2. In the Control Panel window, click System and Security.
    3. In the System and Security, click System.
    4. In the System window, on the left, click Advanced system settings.

      NOTE: If prompted for an administrator password or a User Account Control prompt is displayed, type the appropriate password, or click Yes.

    5. Under Startup and Recovery, click the Settings button. Image
    6. Under System failure, click to uncheck the box in front of Automatically restart and click the OK button. Image
