How do I get Picture-in-Picture (PIP) on my TV?
IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.
The PIP feature works with a PC Input (either HDMI with PC Timing or VGA connection) from a computer and another connection such as the coaxial RF input. The main window only supports PC timing through either HDMI® cord or PC connection (VGA). The second or small window supports RF input, composite VIDEO 1/2 and the component VIDEO 1/2 connections.
Follow the steps below to access the PIP feature:
- Turn on the TV.
- Using the supplied remote control, press the INPUT button to select the correct PC Input (either HDMI with PC Timing or VGA connection).
- Press the TOOLS button.
- Select PIP.
NOTES:
- HDTV 1920/1080 timing when applied to the HDMI input will be treated as video timing and not PC timing.
- For model-specific information regarding PC Timing and the PIP feature, refer to the iManual supplied with the TV. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
