How do I get Picture-in-Picture (PIP) on my TV?

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

The PIP feature works with a PC Input (either HDMI with PC Timing or VGA connection) from a computer and another connection such as the coaxial RF input. The main window only supports PC timing through either HDMI® cord or PC connection (VGA). The second or small window supports RF input, composite VIDEO 1/2 and the component VIDEO 1/2 connections.

Follow the steps below to access the PIP feature:

    1. Turn on the TV.
    2. Using the supplied remote control, press the INPUT button to select the correct PC Input (either HDMI with PC Timing or VGA connection).
    3. Press the TOOLS button.
    4. Select PIP.

    NOTES:

    • HDTV 1920/1080 timing when applied to the HDMI input will be treated as video timing and not PC timing.
    • For model-specific information regarding PC Timing and the PIP feature, refer to the iManual supplied with the TV. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
