Can the Blu-ray Disc player be used to browse the Internet?

This model Blu-ray Disc® player does not have a Web browser or Web surfing capabilities. However, using the Internet video feature you can view a long list of Internet apps.
Follow these steps to access the available Internet video apps:
- Make sure that the Blu-ray Disc player is connected to an active Internet connection.
- Using the supplied remote press the HOME button.
- Press the left arrow or right arrow to select the Video icon.
- Press the up arrow or down arrow to select the desired app.
NOTE: If the apps do not appear when selecting the Video menu, verify that the Internet connecting is active and then select Refresh Internet Content from the Network section of the menu.
