A USB Memory Device Formatted on a Computer Isn't Recognized

    Issue

    My Blu-ray Disc™ player or A/V receiver doesn't recognize a USB memory device formatted on a computer.

    Solution

    On your computer, check if the USB memory device is formatted in File Allocation Table (FAT32) file system or New Technology File System (NTFS). Your device only recognizes a USB memory formatted as FAT32 or NTFS.

    Note: Blu-ray Disc players and A/V receivers manufactured in 2015 also support Extended File Allocation Table (exFAT) format.
