Perform a Factory Data Reset on Your Xperia Tablet

Watch the video tutorial or follow the steps below to perform a factory data reset on your Xperia™ tablet:

WARNING! A Factory data reset erases all user data and account information. We recommend that you back up all user data to a computer or SD card before you continue.

1. On your device, tap the icon.
2. On the upper right corner of the desktop, tap Apps or Apps & Widgets.
3. In the Apps screen, tap the  icon.
4. In the Settings screen, tap Backup & reset.
5. Tap Factory data reset.

   

6. Tap Reset tablet.

   

   • To remove all music, pictures, and other data from your device, add a check mark beside Erase USB storage.
7. Tap Erase everything.

   

   • Your device restarts after the factory reset.

If you experience the same issues after the factory data reset, perform a forced External Data Reset (Android™ reset).
