How to enable the IEEE 1394 Host Controller.

IMPORTANT: This procedure must be performed while logged in as Administrator or to an account with Administrator rights.

1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, double-click the Performance and Maintenance icon.
3. Under pick a Control Panel icon, double-click the System icon.
4. In the System Properties window, click the Hardware tab.
5. On the Hardware tab, click the Device Manager button.
6. In the Device Manager window, double-click the IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controller.
7. Beneath the IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controller, double-click the OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller.
8. In the OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller Properties window, under Device Usage, click the down arrow and click to select Use this device (enable).
