What is the warranty on a refurbished or factory recertified, "AS IS" or "Open Box" computer?

    The warranty on a refurbished or factory recertified computer is 90 days. A refurbished or factory recertified computer usually has a sticker on the bottom stating that it is refurbished or factory recertified and has a 90-day warranty.

    For any model, if the receipt or documentation does NOT show the unit was sold "AS IS", the warranty should be honored for the full period. If the receipt or documentation shows the unit was sold "AS IS", there is no warranty for "AS IS" units.

    For an "Open Box" or "Floor Model" computer, the warranty should be honored for the full period.
