How to import video from a MiniDV camcorder into Picture Motion Browser 2.0.01 software.

    1. Turn on the computer.
    2. Connect the camcorder to the computer using an i.LINK® cable.
    3. Turn on the camcorder.
    4. Ensure the tape is inserted in the camcorder and rewound to the beginning of the video.
    5. Open the Picture Motion Browser software.
    6. In the Picture Motion Browser window, click File.
    7. In the File menu, click Import Media Files.
    8. In the Import Media Files dialog box, click the down arrow to select Handycam (Tape).
    9. Click the OK button.
    10. In the Import from Tape window, click the Settings button.
    11. In the Import Settings window, click Handycam control.
    12. Click to select the Controlling the Handycam during video import box.
    13. Click the OK button.
    14. In the Import from Tape window, click one of the following settings:
      • Import from the beginning of the tape
      • Import from the current tape position
    15. Click the Import button.
    16. When you are finished, click the Stop Import button.
