Are the AF areas in LA-EA2 and LA-EA4 different?

    Since both the LA-EA2 and LA-EA4 A-mount adapters are equipped with the same AF sensor, the AF areas are the same. When shooting in 35mm full-frame size using the LA-EA4 mount adapter, the relative AF area in relation to the image size will be narrower compared to the APS-C format.

    Below is a comparison on the AF-area coverage when using the APS-C format to a 35mm full frame format.

    NOTE: The LA-EA2 mount adapter is only compatible with the APS-C format while the LA-EA4 mount adapter is compatible with both the APS-C and the 35mm full frame formats.
