Error: There is no network connection right now appears after the TV is turned on

    The message There is no network connection right now may appear if you turn your TV off and back on while streaming an internet app, or if your TV is connected to the internet using a wired (network cable) connection and the IPv6 setting on your TV is enabled.

     

    Issues and solutions

    1. The error appears after turning the TV off and back on while watching from an app.

    • Select RETRY to reconnect to the internet. If the error continues, proceed to the next step.

    2. The error appears when your TV is connected to the internet with a wired connection.

    Follow the steps to check the IPv6 setting and for using the wireless connection option. If model-specific information is required to complete any step, check your manual. Manuals are posted on your model support page.

     

    Check the IPv6 setting

    Note: This doesn't apply to TVs with Android™ 8.0 or higher operating systems.

    1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Under Network & Accessories category, select Network.
    4. Select Advanced settings.
    5. Select IPv6 setup.
    6. At the Do you want to enable IPv6? screen, select NO

    Wireless connection option

    If you have Wi-Fi® capabilities, connect your TV to the internet using a wireless connection.

    1. Press the HOME button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Under Network & Accessories category, select Network.
    4. Select Network setup.
    5. Select Easy.
    6. Select Wi-Fi.
    7. Select CONNECT BY SCAN LIST.
    8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the network setup.
