The Android TV Doesn't Display the HDR Content when Connected to the PlayStation VR
Your PlayStation® VR model determines the support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) signal:
- CUH-ZVR1
- This model doesn't support the HDR signal output. HDR pass-through isn't supported. To watch HDR picture content of PlayStation® 4 or of PlayStation® 4 Pro, connect the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro directly to an HDMI input of the Android TV™, which supports HDR with an HDMI® cable.
- CUH-ZVR2
- This model supports HDR pass-through, so you can watch HDR picture content from the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro connected to the PlayStation VR on the Android TV.
