The Walkman player freezes or becomes unresponsive when trying to open a Playlist.

Solution:

As part of the normal operation of the Walkman® player, it may appear the device is frozen once a playlist is selected (i.e., since all buttons temporarily do not work), but it's just a temporary delay while the Walkman player is processing the data. The delay can be from 3 to 60 seconds, depending on how many songs are in the playlist (i.e., the more songs in the playlist, the longer it takes to open). After the temporary delay, the playlist works fine and songs can then be played.
