The TV can't be turned on using an Amazon Alexa-enabled device

Check the settings
- Set Remote Start to On
- Go to Settings
- For models released in 2019 or later: use the Quick Settings button
- If the remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button
- Select Settings.
- For other models: use the HOME button.
- If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the HOME button
- Select Settings.
- For models released in 2019 or later: use the Quick Settings button
- This step will depend on your TV menu option
- Select Network or Network & Internet.
- Set Remote start to On or On (Powered on by apps).
- Go to Settings
- Make sure to use the same Google™ account on all of your devices.
- Check with Amazon Alexa product support to verify the Google account you use on your device.
- Check that Automatic date & time is enabled.
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Under the System Preferences category, select Date & time.
- This step will vary depending on your model. Follow the steps according to the TV menu options:
- Enable Automatic date & time.
- Select Automatic date & time → Use network time.
- If your TV still doesn't respond to voice commands:
- Disconnect other devices connected to your router except for your TV and the Amazon Alexa-compatible speaker to reduce the number of connected devices.
- On your router, make sure that ports 5228, 5229, and 5230 are open if you use the router's firewall.
This operation may not be available due to router specifications (including the limit for the number of connected devices) or settings. For more information, check your router manual.
