This occurs because the Dolby Dynamic Range setting on your TV is set to Standard by default. If the volume sounds lower after updating your TV operating system to the latest Android™ 9 Pie version, change the setting to Compressed to increase the volume.
Follow these steps while you're watching a Netflix® video:
- On the supplied remote, press the Quick Settings or ACTION MENU button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Display & Sound → Sound → Volume level → Dolby Dynamic Range → Compressed.
- The default setting is on Standard.
