Gracenote service will be removed from Music app

Why can’t I get music information such as jacket photo on the Music App?

    Issue

    Cannot get music information such as jacket photo on the Music App.

    Valid for

    Music App version: 9.4.7 and later

    Information / Solution

    Gracenote® service will be removed from the Music app starting in February 2020. After the service is removed, you will no longer be able to download information from Gracenote. The information that will no longer be available includes Title, Artist name, Album name, Jacket photo.

    Note:

    • The Gracenote feature will be unavailable to use regardless of the app version after May 2020
    • You can still continue to use the information which was downloaded before the removal of the service.
