How do I disable the TV LED from turning on or blinking?

    IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

    There is a Voice function LED beside the center of the TV, and it may light up or blink in orange. This is to notify you that the TV's built-in MIC is off.

    Note: Refer to the Help Guide for more about the settings of the Operational response LED in the center of the TV.

    When "Ok Google" detection is on, or when "Ok Google" detection is off and you search by on-screen keyboard in the upper left of the Home screen, data related to built-in MIC usage is saved. If "Ok Google" detection is off with this data saved, the Voice function LED lights up in orange.

    How to turn off the Voice function LED

    There are two ways to turn off the Voice function LED:

    • Enable "Ok Google" detection.

      1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Device PreferencesGoogle Assistant → Turn on "Ok Google" detection.
    • Clear data related to built-in MIC usage.

      1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select AppsSee all appsShow system appsGoogle SearchClear data.

      Note: Clear data in the Google App refers to deleting the data related to built-in MIC usage, not Google accounts registered on the TV.
      If you are already logged in to the TV with your Google account before executing Clear data, you will remain logged in even after you execute Clear data.
