How do I set the ILCE-1 camera to continuously shoot 30 frames per second?

The ILCE-1 camera has the capability to shoot up to 30 frames per second (fps) for fast image capture sequences. To achieve this higher continuous capture rate, specific settings are required in addition to a compatible lens. Refer to the Help Guide for specific steps and additional information.

Camera settings

The following camera settings are required to achieve up to 30 fps when shooting continuously.

• Image quality setting: Compressed RAW or JPEG
• Camera focus mode: Continuous Auto Focus (AF-C)
• Priority set in AF-C: Release
• Drive Mode: Hi+ setting
  • Note: To select the drive mode Continuous Shooting setting (Lo, Mid, Hi, Hi+), turn the drive mode dial while pressing the center drive mode dial lock release button.
• Shutter: Electronic
