Enable the Wireless LAN adapter using the VAIO Smart Network utility

    This information provides steps used on your VAIO® computer with Microsoft® Windows Vista® to enable the Wireless LAN adapter using the VAIO Smart Network utility.

    1. On the desktop, in the system tray, double-click the VAIO Smart Network icon.

      Note: If the system tray icon is not available, open the VAIO Smart Network Utility manually.

    2. In the VAIO Smart Network window, click the button on the left next to WLAN.

      Note: When the Wireless LAN is enabled, the indicator button will display a green light next to WLAN.

    Your Wireless LAN is now enabled and ready for use.
