What is the Attenuate (ATT) setting?

IMPORTANT: Not all home theater systems have the Attenuate setting. Refer to instructions manual supplied with the home theater system to check if this setting is available.

The Attenuate or ATT is a setting available on select home theater systems that can be enabled to prevent distortion issue on the component or device connected to the AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks. When this setting is enabled, it will reduce the input level on the unit.

NOTE: The procedure to change the ATT feature varies by model. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
