There is no sound from the audio system when connected with eARC

    This occurs when you watch a video that uses audio codecs such as DTS-HD® Master Audio or Dolby® TrueHD. Check the following to resolve the issue:

    • Make sure to connect the TV and audio system using an HDMI® cable with Ethernet.
    • Check if your audio system supports eARC and that the setting is enabled.
      • Check your device manual for model-specific information.
    • Make sure other external devices connected to the TV's HDMI ports support output from audio codecs, such as DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD.
      • Check your manual or contact the manufacturer for more information.
    • The TV doesn't support DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD from USB files, video streaming services, and broadcasts.
    • Set the eARC mode to Auto:
      1. Go to the Settings screen on the TV
        • Using the Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later)
          1. Press the Quick Settings button on the remote control.
          2. Select Settings.
        • Using the HOME button
          1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
          2. Select Settings.
      2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu:
        • Select Display and soundAudio outputAudio system settingseARC settingAuto.
        • Select Display & SoundAudio outputeARC modeAuto
        • Select SoundeARC modeAuto
    • Set the TV speaker output to Audio System:
      1. Go to the Settings screen on the TV
        • Using the Quick Settings button (For models released in 2019 or later)
          1. Press the Quick Settings button on the remote control.
          2. Select Settings.
        • Using the HOME button
          1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
          2. Select Settings.
      2. Follow the steps below according to your TV menu.

    Note: Depending on the audio system specifications, some audio codecs may not be supported.
