Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
IMPORTANT: The method to complete these steps will differ depending on the type of mobile device. If necessary, refer to the instruction manual of your mobile device or contact the manufacturer for model-specific information.
- Look for the Near Field Communication (NFC™) logo on the mobile device to ensure that it is NFC compatible.
- If the mobile device is enclosed in a case or skin, remove it.
- Start the NFC Easy Connect app (available from the Google Play™ store) on the mobile device.
NOTE: As of October, 2014, the NFC function of Apple® iOS® devices is not compatible with one-touch connection.
- Touch the NFC device or the mobile device into the N marked area or on the top of the unit. Then, check the connection status of the mobile device. The mobile device may not be recognized if you touch the wrong area of the unit or touch it too quickly.
NOTE: Depending on the mobile device you are using, the NFC sensitivity may not be strong enough to connect the unit with just one touch. In this case, pair the mobile device and the audio system through the Bluetooth® wireless connection in which steps can be found in the instruction manual. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
