End of support notification for products using the Windows XP operating system

Dear valued Customers,

Microsoft^® Corporation has announced that they will end their support of the Windows^® XP operating system on April 8, 2014, at which point, security updates, fixes and technical support will no longer be provided by Microsoft.

Accordingly, Sony will no longer be able to assist with any new technical, quality or security issues with our products if they relate to Windows XP, and we will not be able to provide security updates or implement modifications and validations on our products running on Windows XP. As such, please be aware that these products may not work properly or securely if you continue using them with Windows XP.

Certain products are compatible with newer versions of the Windows operating system. Please check your model-specific support pages for information about Windows operating system compatibility and updates.

Note: Sony cannot support new technical, quality or security issues with our products caused by use with earlier versions of Windows operating system, such as Windows^® 95, Windows^® 98, Windows^® Me, Windows^® 2000, etc., for which Microsoft has already ended support.
