Listen to Music from an NFC-Capable Device

    Pair Your Devices

    Note:

    • The procedure to listen to music from an Near Field Communication (NFC™) connection varies depending on the mobile device.
    • Not all mobile devices are equipped with the NFC  function. To see if your mobile device is compatible with the NFC function , check the mobile device's manual.

    1. Unlock your mobile device screen.
    2. Enable the NFC function of the mobile device.

      Note: For more information on how to turn on the NFC function of the mobile device, refer to the operating instructions of the mobile device.

    3. Hold the mobile device close to the N-Mark on the unit, until the mobile device vibrates or plays a short sound.

      Note:

      • To find the location of the N-Mark on your mobile device, refer to the mobile device's manual.
      • If pairing and the Bluetooth® connection fails, do the following:
        • If your remote device has an OS version older than Android™ 4.1, download and start the NFC Easy Connect application. NFC Easy Connect is a free application for Android remote devices that can be obtained from the Google Play™ store. (The application may not be available in some countries/regions.)
        • Remove any attached mobile device case from the device.

    4. Start playback on the mobile device.

      Note: The unit only recognizes and connects to one NFC-compatible device at a time.
