The Blu-ray Disc Player Stops Responding or Freezes and Error 8003 Appears

Error 8003 indicates that there's an issue reading the disc.

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

1. Power off your Blu-ray Disc™ player.
2. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
   Note: Let your device remain without power for 15 seconds.

3. Plug the power cord back in.
4. Power on your device.
5. Try to play the disc.
6. If the error message still appears, try playing a different disc.

If the issue still occurs, repair may be required.  Go to Product Repair.
