Error: INCOMPATIBLE REGION CODE appears when trying to play a Blu-ray Disc media.

The INCOMPATIBLE REGION CODE error appears only when attempting to play a Blu-ray Disc® movie title with a region code that is not supported by the Blu-ray Disc player. All Blu-ray Disc players have a region code printed on the back and will only play Blu-ray Disc movies with an identical region code. Ensure the Blu-ray Disc movie you are playing has the same region code as your Blu-ray Disc player.

IMPORTANT: There have been a few Blu-ray Disc movie titles that have caused this error to occur even though the region code is the same as the Blu-ray Disc player. If this appears to be the case, the Blu-ray Disc player may require a firmware update .
