Cinavia Message Code 1 or Cinavia Message Code 3 appears when playing certain content.

The Cinavia Message Code 1 and Cinavia Message Code 3 will appear if the audio track of the video that you are playing contains a Cinavia™ code  indicating that it is an unauthorized copy of professionally-produced content.

These errors do not indicate that there is an issue with the Blu-ray Disc® player.

If you created the disc from content downloaded on a computer, contact the online distributor or website where the content was purchased.

If you are trying to playback content that was purchased at a store, contact the retailer for additional assistance and media replacement.
