How to configure the Direct Stream Digital (DSD) playback settings of Foobar2000.

    1. Open the Foobar2000 menu.
    2. Click File.
    3. Go to Preferences.
    4. Select Components in the Preferences window.

      Note: Audio Stream Input/Output (ASIO) and Super Audio CD Decoder (SACD) are listed under Components.

    5. Click Playback.
    6. Click Output node.
    7. Select ASIO.
    8. Select ASIO: foo_dsd_asio from the device pull-down list.
    9. Click Apply.
    10. Click ASIO to go the ASIO drivers list.
    11. Double-click foo_dsd_asio under ASIO driver pull-down list.
    12. Select ASIO for Sony USB DAC Amplifier.
    13. Click X (close button) to close the foo_dsd_asio window.
    14. Click Tools node.
    15. Select SACD.
    16. Select DSD from the ASIO Driver Mode pull-down list.
    17. Click Apply to complete DSD playback settings of Foobar2000.
