Before attempting to connect your Wi-Fi® capable BRAVIA TV to a wireless home network for Internet access, devices such as hubs, routers, etc. are necessary components in addition to the BRAVIA TV. Furthermore, these devices vary depending on how you set up your Internet connection. This information is provided to help guide you with connecting your Wi-Fi® capable TV to your existing wireless network.
Make sure you know the SSID (your wireless network name) and your wireless network password. Passwords are case-sensitive and must be entered correctly.
If the remote control has a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the Quick Settings button and select Settings.
If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings ( or ) button, press the HOME button and select Settings.
The next steps will vary. Follow the steps according to your TV menu options:

If you don't know the SSID (wireless network name) and password (security key/passphrase) of your wireless router (or access point), check the manuals for your wireless equipment or contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for help.
Select your wireless network and enter your network password as prompted. Notes:
After selecting your wireless network, you may need to press the Enter/Select button on your remote control while the text field is highlighted to activate the on-screen keyboard. Input the security key for your network and press NEXT/ENTER or FINISH to proceed. If the on-screen keyboard is not appearing, you can refer to the article The Virtual keyboard does not appear on the screen, even when a text input box is selected.
Selecting the up-arrow symbol on the on-screen keyboard toggles it for upper-case characters. You can just press it again to go back to lowercase.
Password characters are case-sensitive. Be careful to use upper case and lower case correctly. Examples of common mistakes:
I (capital i), l (small L), and 1 (number one)
0 (number zero) and O (capital o)
d (small D) and b (small B)
9 (number nine) and q (small Q)
After entering your password, select the enter key to continue. The enter key is usually located on the right side of the keyboard and labeled as Enter, or a symbol with an arrow used to indicate NEXT, ENTER, or FINISH.
