What is a Dock Connector?
A Dock Connector is a connection terminal located at the bottom of an Apple® iPod® portable player or an iPhone® mobile digital device (3rd generation and above).
After you have attached the correct adapter for your portable player to the docking tray of the speaker docking system, the dock connector terminal of your iPod or iPhone device is then placed down onto the adapter.
NOTE: This solution also pertains to the Sony® RDP-V20iP Speaker System.
