The portable speakers are producing a crackling or static noise.
When the portable speakers are producing a popping, crackling or static noise, follow these steps to try to resolve this issue:
- Lower the volume if the last volume setting was too loud.
- If you have an Apple® iPod® portable player or iPhone® mobile device connected to the speaker, turn off the Tone Control functions (such as Equalizer and/or Bass Boost) or set the functions to flat.
- Turn off the MEGA BASS function on the speaker, if applicable.
- If the issue is not resolved, reboot your iPod touch or iPhone device.
