How to view a 3D movie using the Internet Video feature.
NOTE: Not all Blu-ray Disc® players are supplied with the 3D feature. To see if your Blu-ray Disc player is capable of playing 3D content, check the specifications. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
Follow these steps when playing a 3D movie from the PlayStation™ Network (formerly known as Sony Entertainment Network™ [SEN]) service, YouTube® service or other Internet Video channel:
IMPORTANT: Some of the 3D videos available through the Internet require red and blue anaglyph 3D glasses. While the Blu-ray Disc player may play anaglyph 3D content, we recommend contacting the content provider for assistance and answers to playback questions.
- Make sure that the Blu-ray Disc player is connected to the 3D TV using a high-speed HDMI® cable.
- Make sure that the Blu-ray Disc player has the latest system software (firmware) installed.
NOTE: Updates can be downloaded directly to the player if it is connected to an active high-speed Internet connection or they can be found online. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
- Make sure that the TV is properly set up to view a 3D signal .
- Make sure that the 3D Output Setting setting on the Blu-ray Disc player is Auto or On.
