The camera is not displayed on the connection screen in the Monitor & Control.
- To connect the camera to a mobile device, the camera settings must first be configured. The setting items and values of the camera vary depending on the connection method used.
Please check the Help Guide for details on connection methods. - When connecting the camera to a mobile device using the mobile device as an access point (Wi-Fi tethering), or using a Wi-Fi connection with a wireless LAN router as an access point, or using a wired LAN connection via a router, your camera must be connected to the network and remote control must be enabled.
Check the Help Guide for details on how to enable remote control of the camera. - When connecting the camera to a mobile device using a Wi-Fi connection with a wireless LAN router as an access point, or using a wired LAN connection via a router, turn off the privacy separator feature of the router.
- The camera is not displayed on the connection screen of Monitor & Control when the camera's access point registration screen is open. Try it without opening the camera's access point registration screen.
- For wired LAN connections, it may not be possible to establish a connection with your device depending on your wired LAN adapter. (ILCE-1/9M3, MPC-2610, ILME-FX6, PXW-Z200, HXR-NX800)
Please check the Home for details on wired LAN adapters that are confirmed to work with the app. - If you selected "Don't Allow" on your iPhone/iPad for the dialog box that requests to search for and connect to devices on your local network, you will need to change your local network settings.
Under iPhone/iPad [Settings], switch [Monitor & Control] → [Local Network] to ON.
