How to create a Video CD using the Picture Package VCD Maker software.

NOTES:
- If necessary, consult the camcorder instruction manual for assistance with any of the camcorder-related steps below. Manuals are posted on your model support page.
- Support and further information for the Picture Package® software is available online.
- Turn on the computer.
- Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into the CD-R/RW drive.
- Turn on the camcorder to the PLAY/EDIT mode.
- In the camcorder menu, set the USB-PLY/EDT option to USB STREAM.
- Insert the cassette tape with the video into the camcorder.
- Connect the camcorder to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
- If the Picture Package Menu window opens automatically, click Copy the recorded video to VideoCD.
- If the Picture Package Menu does not open, manually start the Picture Package VCD Maker software.
- In the Picture Package VCD Maker window, click the Options button.
- In the Options window, in the Write section, under Target drive, click the down arrow.
- In the Target drive drop-down menu, click to select the CD-R/RW drive of your computer.
- In the Video camera section, click the Adjust and confirm USB stream button.
- Begin playing the tape in the camcorder.
- In the USB Streaming Tool window, under AUDIO DEVICE, click the down arrow button.
- In the AUDIO DEVICE drop-down menu, click to select Sony Digital Imaging Audio.
- Click the NEXT button.
- Under SELECT VIDEO QUALITY, if necessary, click the slide bar and move it to the left or right to adjust the video quality.
- Click the NEXT button.
- Under ADJUST BRIGHTNESS, if necessary, click the slide bar and move it to the left or right to adjust the video brightness.
- Click the NEXT button.
- Click the DONE button.
- In the Options window, click the OK button.
- Rewind the tape in the camcorder to the beginning of the video footage.
- In the camcorder menu, select the BURN VCD option.
