Does Sony make an external microphone input adapter for camcorders?

Sony® does not currently make an input adapter for connecting external microphones to camcorders.

However, Sony manufactures a number of different external microphones for camcorder use that do not require an input adapter. Depending on your camcorder model, you may be able to find a compatible external microphone from Sony Parts and Accessories Sales or the Sony Store:

NOTE: Not all camcorders have an input jack or Active Interface Shoe for connecting an external microphone.
