The battery door will not close or will not stay closed.

Troubleshoot this issue by doing the following:

• Make sure no foreign matter such as sand, hair, or dirt is inside the area of the battery cover.
• Make sure that the battery is inserted properly and not backwards.

  NOTE:  The metal contacts on the battery should be aligned with the metal conductors inside the battery compartment.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required.  Go to Product Repair.
