How to connect a digital camcorder to a television using an i.LINK® (IEEE 1394) connection.
Follow this procedure to connect a digital camcorder to a television using an i.LINK® (IEEE 1394) connection.
IMPORTANT: The TV must have a compatible Digital Video (DV) input jack to complete this procedure.
- Connect an i.LINK® cable to the DV IN/OUT jack on the digital camcorder.
- Connect the other end of the i.LINK® cable to an available Digital Video (DV) input jack on the television.
- Turn on the camcorder.
- Turn on the television.
- Tune the television to the appropriate video input to receive the DV signal from the camcorder.
NOTE: If the DV picture from the camcorder is not being displayed, consult the instruction manual or manufacturer of the television for additional information about i.LINK® compatibility and support.
