How to change the import or video conversion settings in the PlayMemories Home (for Mac) software.
- Start the PlayMemories Home™ (for Mac) software on your Macintosh® computer.
- In the PlayMemories Home window, click Tools.
- Click Import Media Files.
- In the upper-left, click PlayMemories Home Importer.
- Click Preferences.
- Under Import, click to select the setting you want.
- Sort imported media files into folder by date taken.
- Put imported media files into a folder with the date imported.
- Import media files into the selected folder.
- Under Video conversion, click to select the setting you want.
- Convert imported videos that are in TS (AVC) or MPEG-2 format to MP4 format and leave the original media files on the hard disk they are imported to.
- Convert imported videos that are in TS (AVC) or MPEG-2 format to MP4 format and delete the original media files on the hard disk they are imported to.
- Do not convert imported videos that are in TS (AVC) or MPEG-2 format automatically.
- Click OK when finished.
