Start the Imaging Edge Mobile (PlayMemories Mobile successor) on your smartphone and then select the camera to be connected. When you are connecting to the camera with your smartphone for the first time, you will be required to enter the password displayed on the camera into Imaging Edge Mobile app on the smartphone. - Where is the image saved when taking a picture with Smart Remote Control?
The original image is saved on the memory card in the camera, but a copy of the image is saved to your smartphone. - What is the image size of the date transferred to the smartphone?
The size is approximately 2 Megapixels; 1616 x 1080 for 3:2 images and 1920 x 1080 for 16:9 images. This is a fixed size and cannot be changed for transfer to the smartphone - The camera will not wirelessly connect to the smartphone using Smart Remote Control.
Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the Imaging Edge Mobile app on your smartphone. If you are still unable to connect, you may be too far away and need to move closer to the camera.
