How can I use my Xperia as an external monitor of a camera?

Valid for
- Android™ 11 or higher
If your camera is compatible with the USB Video Class (UVC) standard, you can connect to your Xperia® device with a USB cable and launch the External monitor app.
Notes:
- The ZV-1, DSC-RX0M2, and ILCE-7C cameras will require the latest
to enable UVC capability.
- If your camera is not compatible with UVC but with HDMI® output, you may be able to connect the device using a third-party HDMI to UVC converter.
- Sony doesn't warranty or guarantee the performance of third-party equipment and is not responsible for any damage or reduced performance of your device attributable to the use of third-party equipment.
