The Camera Monitor Turns Off While Inside the Underwater Housing

Close the viewfinder before you use the camera with the underwater housing. The monitor won't turn on when the viewfinder is popped up.
Note:
- If the camera is subjected to a strong impact after you have stored it in the underwater housing, the viewfinder may pop up and the monitor will turn off. Be sure not to subject the camera to strong shocks.
- For the DSC-RX100M5 and DSC-RX100M5A: To make sure that the monitor stays on while the viewfinder is popped up, follow these steps:
- Press the MENU button.
- Select Custom Settings.
- Select FINDER/MONITOR.
- Select Monitor(Manual).
