The camera takes several pictures in a row after pressing the shutter button.

    This occurs if your camera has a feature like Burst, Multi-Burst, or a Continuous Shooting mode and the camera is set to shoot in one of these modes. These modes are designed to capture multiple images in succession and are mostly used when shooting a moving subject. Change the camera setting to the AUTO or SINGLE shooting mode if you just want to shoot one picture at a time.
