ZV-1F: Initial setup and checking basic operation
It’s easy to set up the camera initially by pairing it with a smartphone over Bluetooth and using the Creators' App smartphone app.
Installing the app initially is convenient because once the settings are complete, you can transfer images to your smartphone and use it to control the camera remotely.

Switching shooting modes
Each press of the Still/Movie/S&Q button (A) changes the shooting mode.
Icon Touch Function
By default, the Icon Touch Function is enabled for the camera. You can shoot, change settings, and perform other basic operations by tapping icons on the LCD screen.
Movie/S&Q shooting standby screen

- Besides controlling the camera by tapping icons or controls on the LCD screen, you can also focus and choose subjects by touch.

Function menu
The function menu contains frequently used menu items.
- Displaying the function menu
To access the function menu, while the shooting standby screen is displayed, press the Fn ( Function ) button (J) or swipe up on the LCD screen. - Selecting items
You can select items by pressing the top/bottom/left/right side of the control wheel (K) or by turning it. Items can also be selected by tapping the LCD screen.

You can also change the items in the function menu.
- To clean a smudged or dusty monitor, use a soft cloth or the like to gently remove any dust or debris on the surface before wiping away smudges. Be careful not to wipe the monitor too roughly with tissue paper or similar material, which may scratch it.
- Consider using a protective glass sheet that supports touch operations.
