How to update apps from the Windows Store.

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

Apps from the Windows® Store can be updated from within the Store app. Follow this procedure to update the Windows Store apps.

1. On the Start screen, click the Store icon.

   

   NOTE: The number of apps with available updates will be shown to left of the Account icon and Search field.

2. In the Store screen, to left of the Search field, click the Account icon, and then click Downloads.

   

   NOTE: Apps can also be set to automatically update .

3. In the Downloads and installs screen, click or tap the update arrow at the left of the app you wish to update.

   NOTE: The top left of the update section may also have an Update all button available.
