Is it possible to use a commercially available USB cable with my camera?

USB cables are the essential connection method for transferring images or videos, providing power and charging capabilities, and enabling USB streaming (live streaming) for cameras.
Please note that some cameras do not come with a USB cable, so confirm that the commercially available cable you buy matches the type and speed specifications of your camera. Refer to your Help Guide for assistance in selecting the correct cable.
Newer models require a USB Type C® cable, while older models may require a USB Mini or USB Micro cable:
