Restrictions on importing content (Music Center for PC Ver.1.0)
When you import a song from an audio CD to “Music Center for PC”
- If the length of the song is extremely short, the song may not be imported to “Music Center for PC” correctly.
- Do not use other software that can play audio CDs at the same time as “Music Center for PC”. Songs may not be imported correctly.
- The computer will not go into an inactive state, such as sleep mode. The screen saver also will not work.
- You cannot play songs that are currently being imported or waiting for import.
- When “Music Center for PC” is displayed in mini mode, songs will not be imported even if an audio CD is inserted into the media drive.
When you import a song from the WALKMAN® to “Music Center for PC”
- Do not disconnect the Walkman while data is transferring between the Walkman and the computer. This may cause a malfunction.
- While data is transferring between the Walkman and the computer, do not put the computer in an inactive state, such as sleep mode, or turn the computer off or restart the computer. While songs are transferring, the computer cannot go into an inactive state, such as sleep mode using the timer function.
- If you import an MP3 file to “Music Center for PC”, some of the metadata may be lost.
