For the MZ-M10/MZ-M100:

*1 Audio data transferred using SonicStage® software or MD Simple Burner software, and audio data downloaded from this software, cannot be imported.
*2 WAV format audio data is downloaded after converting Linear PCM.
*3 If audio data downloaded with this software is used on SonicStage software, some functions such as transfer times or CD burning are limited.

Before You Start
Important Notes
- This software is not compatible with the Hi-MD WAV Importer for Mac Ver. 1.0 application, which is supplied with MZ-M100/MZ-M10 MiniDisc Recorder models sold only in North America. If the Hi-MD WAV Importer for Mac Ver. 1.0 application is currently installed on your computer, it must be uninstalled BEFORE you proceeding with the installation of the Hi-MD Music Transfer Version 2 for Mac software. Failure to do so may result in the destruction of audio data or other product malfunctions.
- If Hi-MD Music Transfer for Mac Ver.1.0 is already installed, it will be overwritten by Ver.2.0.
- To install this software, you must log on with a user name with administrative privileges.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Notes: - This software cannot be installed in Macintosh operating systems prior to Mac OS X version 10.3.9.
- This software is not supported by the following environments:
- Operating Systems other than those listed above.
- An environment that is an upgrade of the original manufacturer-installed operating system.
- Multi-boot environment.
- Multi-monitor environment.
- The supported Operating System languages are English, French, German, Italian, Espanol, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Download and Installation Instructions
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- Make sure your Minidisc® Walkman Player is disconnected from the computer.
- Download the HiMDMusicTransfer20.dmg file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Note: Do not let your computer go into Sleep / Hibernation mode during the download.- Open the HiMDMusicTransfer20.dmg file, and then double-click HiMDMusicTransfer20.mpkg to begin the installation.
- Carefully follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- At the "Complete" window, click Restart to restart the computer.
- After the computer restarts, the installation is complete.
- Launch the Hi-MD Music Transfer for Mac Ver.2.0 program and check the "About Hi-MD Music Transfer" menu.
- If Version 2.0.00.06273 is displayed, the installation is successfully completed.
- If Version 2.0.00.06273 is not displayed, please download and install this update again.
