    Managing files

    On the file management screen, you can view a list of imported and exported files, and you can add files to projects or remove them.

    1. Select [Files] at left on the home screen.

    2. Perform your preferred operations.

      • A. Filter display: Filter file display by All, Labeled, Exported, or Projects.
        • To make it easier to find the files you use most often, you can use labels.
      • B. (Export status) : Displays the Export status screen.
      • C. Sort: List view only: Selecting an item sorts files in ascending or descending order.
      • D. Add: To add video files, select [Upload from this device] or [Select from Creators' Cloud storage]. Importing video files
      • E. Type: Select the type of file to display: All, Proxy, or Original.
      • F. Switch display: Switch between Index view and List view.
      • G. (management options): Available options include selecting multiple files and adding them to other projects or labeling or deleting them.
        • Options vary depending on the files listed.
        • With [Delete file], deleting files that are used for projects you are editing will prevent you from using them as the source files. Deletion does not affect files already exported.
        • Files can also be selected with keyboard shortcuts. List of keyboard shortcuts
      • H. Storage used: Selecting (Information) opens a page with your Creators' Cloud storage subscription and usage.
      • I. File thumbnails: Select to view a preview of the file. (Only supported video files.)
        • For details on supported files, see the supported files section of Home.
        • Select [Metadata] in the preview to display file metadata. (Only available on a computer.)
      • J. File names
      • K. (file options): Available options include selecting individual files and adding them to other projects or labeling or deleting them.
        • Available options vary depending on the selected file.
