Error: "Videos that cannot be imported by PlayMemories Home were found" displays on the computer and videos and images can't be imported.

If you try to import an image (video, RAW, HEIF, etc.) from a camera that PlayMemories Home doesn't support, the following message may be displayed:
The message from the PlayMemories Home: Videos that cannot be imported by PlayMemories Home were found. To import and play all the found media files, your camera must be recognized by PlayMemories Home. Connect the camera to this computer using a USB cable, and restart PlayMemories Home. Refer to the instruction manual that came with your camera for details on connecting it to the computer. Camera registration may take a few minutes.

    Notes:

    • Even with an unsupported camera, some images may import but the operation is not guaranteed.
    • Although the message refers to Videos, it will also appear when you try to import still images.
    • The Camera registration reference in the message does not refer to product registration for My Sony, but to the PlayMemories Home application device authentication (registration). Device authentication is not available for products that are not supported by PlayMemories Home.
